- Optimal Academy of Naturopathic/Alternative Medicine Programmes Offered
SPECIAL PROGRAMMES:
At Optimal Academy, we runs specialized diploma and short-term (crash) courses for professional, existing and intending practitioners in different areas of naturopathy/alternative medicine. These programmes include;
- Special Certificate Diploma in General Naturopathy – (8 months)
- Certificate Programme in Herbal Medicine – (3-4 weeks)
- Certificate Programme in Emergency Contraceptive Pills (ECP) – (3-4 weeks)
- Certificate Programme in Magnetic Therapy – (3-4 weeks)
- Certificate Programme in Quantum Training – (3-4 weeks)
- Certificate Programme in Homeopathy – (3-4 weeks)
All the above programmes are open to both practitioners and intending practitioners, irrespective of your current knowledge in the field.
REGULAR PROGRAMMES:
HND Programmes
National Diploma (ND) Programme – Natural/Alternative Medicine
- Five Credit passes in the WAEC or NECO Senior Secondary Certificate Examination or its equivalent in five subjects, including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Student’s’ enrolment and admission is through (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- At the end of the course, successful candidates are awarded the National Diploma.
- Duration: The programme is of four semesters (Two Academic Sessions) duration for Full-Time students and Six Semester (Three Academic Sessions) for Part-Time students.

HND Programme
Higher National Diploma (ND) Programme – Natural/Alternative Medicine
- Five Credit pass as it is for admission into National Diploma
- National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology & other related prgrammes with a minimum of Lower Credit or Pass from a recognised and NBTE-accredited institution.
- Evidence/Proof of a one-year mandatory Industrial Attachment.
- Admission is made directly by the Institution.
- At the end of the course, successful candidates are awarded a Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication.
- Duration: The programme is Four-Semester (Two Academic Sessions) for Full-Time students and Six Semesters (Three Academic Sessions) for Part-Time students.

Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes
Postgraduate Diploma in Naturopathic/Alternative Medicine.
- You must pass the following subject(s) in O’Level obtained at not more than 2 sittings.
- A credit pass in Mathematics
- A credit pass in English Language and at least credit pass in 3 other subjects
- First Degree or Higher National Diploma from a recognized institution.
- Duration: The programme is of Two semester (One Academic Session) duration for Full Time and Three semester for Part-Time students.
